1. What Accordly is — and is not
Accordly is a software service that helps you prepare your own application for consent orders (Form 11) for use in Western Australia, and connects you with an independent family lawyer who reviews your draft with you before anything is finalised or filed.
- Accordly is not a law firm and does not practise law. The guidance, question wording and generated documents are information and document-preparation assistance, not legal advice.
- Legal advice, where you receive it, comes from the independent reviewing lawyer, who is responsible for that advice under their own professional obligations. Accordly is not a party to that lawyer–client relationship.
- Nothing is filed with any court by using this app. Your draft only becomes an application when you and your lawyer finalise, sign and lodge it.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide information that is true, complete and up to date. The application you file is a sworn court document; accuracy is your responsibility.
- Consent orders require full and frank financial disclosure by both parties. The app helps you organise your disclosure; it cannot know what you leave out.
- Review the generated draft, including its annexure pages, before your lawyer session, and raise anything that looks wrong.
- Keep your device secure — drafts are saved in your browser until account features are enabled.
3. Suitability
Consent orders suit separating couples who have reached agreement. Accordly is not suitable for urgent matters, matters involving immediate risk to a person or property, or where you cannot safely participate. If that is your situation, seek direct legal help — Legal Aid WA (legalaid.wa.gov.au) and the Women's Legal Service WA are starting points, or contact 000 in an emergency.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are as displayed at the time of purchase and are processed by Stripe. Because substantial value is delivered as soon as your questionnaire and draft are prepared, refunds are handled as follows: if you have not yet attended your lawyer review session, contact us and we will work out a fair resolution; nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Intellectual property
The software, question flows and generated document formatting are Accordly's. Your answers and your completed application are yours.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Accordly's liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fee paid. We are not liable for outcomes of your court application, for decisions made by courts, or for advice given by your reviewing lawyer. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be notified in the app. Questions: hello@accordly.com.au.
